Post a CommentI hope people utilize these lessons. I taught myself ASL by using videos and with the help of two little girls who attended Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL. I know live in Pekin, where there is not a large deaf community. But sometimes I see deaf people in Wal-Mart and I always walk up to them and start communicating. Even though we're strangers, I think it's nice for them to know that there are hearing people in Pekin that do know enough sign to converse and I enjoy using ASL whenever I can....
So glad you're posting this. I will be working in an office with hearing impaired coworkers and I need to brush up on my signing.
