Making a Surfboard
Ryan Burch (6 foot 2 inches tall) makes himself a 5'4" pink fish from polyurethane foam and fiber glass. Combining a traditional outline and self-made wooden keel fins with a concave deck and bottom, thinly tapered rails and more rocker than most fishes, Burch blurs the line between "retro and futuristic."
