Metalico Up 3% on Goodman Services Buy and Increased Credit
Metalico, Inc. (MEA), a regional scrap metal recycler, is up 2.23% to $5.49 in midday trade, on the back of news it acquired Goodman Services, Inc. Goodman is a full service recycling company based in Bradford, Pennsylvania, with additional facilities in Jamestown, New York and Canton, Ohio. It primarily buys and processes ferrous and non-ferrous scrap generated by industrial accounts. The purchase price was not disclosed but included cash and Metalico common stock among other items of consideration.
