My video review opinion on the Monster Cable Hdmi ultra high speed 900 thx certified 4ft cable from Best Buy. I bought this cable at Best Buy for $79.95 plus tax. I thought that getting a really nice cable would make a difference in the quality. I found out it doesn't. Post a Commentlet me qualify this first I am an Elcetronics Engineer who specializes in RF (Radio Frequency) devices, which is what these cables use. To get down to the nitty gritty, other than the design of the connector, all of these cables are virtually identical. The difference in the connectors are how they are moulded to the cable, which has no electical/electronic significance. The impedance of these cables is what matters, and for it to work at all the impedance must be correct, and to use the name "HDMI" it must meet the specifications set forth... Long and short, these "super cables" are just another way to get you to open your wallet. Save your hard earned cash, buy the cheaper cable and take the wife or girlfriend out to a real movie instead of renting a video for once. Hey we all love our home systems but the experience of the real big screen is worth it once in a while
