A scale is a series of ascending and descending notes or pitches. The G Major scale consists of 1 sharp called F#(sharp)GABCDEF#G. Solfege is used in place of musical notes. You can also sing the scale in Solfege in place of notes (Do,Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La Ti, Do). Franz Schubert used the key of G major in a well-known musical piece called Fantasia.
