MWC: NTT DoCoMo demos prototype LTE terminal
Japan's NTT DoCoMo is demonstrating for the first time this week a prototype computer designed to run on a super-fast cellular network it plans to launch in December. The terminal, developed by NEC, is compatible with LTE cellular -- a data technology one step beyond today's 3G service and can support speeds from 100Mbps -- around 5 times today's fastest service.
