Onboard Amtrak's Acela Express from Boston to Providence
Take a ride onboard Amtrak Acela Express #2255 from Boston South Station to Providence. The Acela Express is the only train in the United Stations that is classified a high speed train by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). Reaching a top speed of 150MPH once in Massachusetts and once in Rhode Island, the train is the fastest in the country.
