Perma-Fix Receives $4.1 Million Contract for Nuclear Power P
Perma-Fix Environmental Services (PESI) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Perma-Fix Northwest, has been awarded a one year $4.1 million contract from Energy Northwest, a power supplier to the Pacific Northwest U.S. Under the contract, PESI will treat and dispose of low-level radioactive wastes. The company is expected to provide radioactive material removal and disposal services that will be needed for the nuclear power plant's upcoming condenser replacement project. Shares are up 2.535 or $0.04 to $1.62.
