Psalm 6 Sung Live with an Accordion

I sing Psalm 6--traditionally one of the "penitential psalms," though it says more about sickness and enemies than about repenting from sin--to my wording modified from the 1650 Scottish Presbyterian Psalter with reference to Young's Literal Translation of the Holy Bible, and modernized somewhat. In the original Hebrew the Psalms do not rhyme nor have rigid rhythm (I am told; I don't know Hebrew), but they are poetic, not simply plain language; so I think touches of old-fashioned language here and there may help convey that this is special written material. And of course starting from 1650 English it's not easy to get rid of everything that sounds old; I find it easier to leave some in. I suppose after finishing all 150 Psalms I'll go back and write an introduction using some of what these random notes as I do particular Psalms say.
