Roman Numerals on the Doors at Mission San Jose, Indian Quarters

When San Jose Mission, San Antonio, was in its hay day, the Indian quarters were marked with Roman numerals. Most generally, the use of these numerals was due to the Mission's Roman Catholic origins. See original numerals in the doors here.
