Solar Power Used in Hospitals in Nigeria
In response to the need for reliable light and mobile communication in maternity hospitals and clinics in developing countries, WE CARE Solar has designed portable solar electric kits that fit in a suitcase-sized package. Brent Moellenberg and Lauren Stachel describe the conditions in medical facilities abroad and how these "solar suitcases" are being field tested in Nigeria and Haiti.
