Squeezing a juice box and poking the straw in at the same time is a sure recipe for a stained shirt. Fruit juices, especially those containing tannins (natural dye found in fruit skins) make obnoxious stains that need to be treated as they happen or they may permanently set. Rubbing them may make them worse, so once the mess is made get home as soon as you can to launder your soiled items! This video instructs on how to minimize a fruit juice (natural grape/apple/passion fruit blend) stain while out and about. Keep these materials in your car for potential stain treating needs: -bottled water -laundry detergent sealed in a small zipper bag -lint-free white cloths for blotting Get the clothing home to wash immediately in water as hot as the fabric can tolerate. Soak them in the sink first if you want extra confidence.
