Supermarket Earnings: Whole Foods, Winn-Dixie
Keep an eye on grocery stocks today, after two chains posted earnings Tuesday after the bell. Natural and organic grocery chain Whole Foods (WFMI) posted a 71 percent jump in profits, to $55.1 million, or 32 cents per share, as compared to $32.3 million, or 20 cents per share, in the same quarter last year.
