Tata Motor's March Unit Sales Up 11% YoY (TTM)
Tata Motors (NYSE:TTM) reported sales of commercial and passenger vehicles for March 2011 up 11% year-over-year to 83,363.The vast majority of the sales, 77,431 units, were domestic, which were up 9% over the prior year period.The company's exports, while accounting for a small overall percentage, grew 45% year-over-year, to 5,932 units.Overall sales of commercial units grew 15% to 49,753 units, while passenger car sales declined 1.1% to 29,543.
