G.P Howard, you really need to pay attention a little better. The title of this video is, The Core Values of Christian Community. No where is it stated that he is calling this The Core Values of Christianity. So what's your point really? The video may be disjointed to you, but that is part of the artistry presented in the video editing along with the simple analogy of the apple core. As far as him eating while talking, I suppose you have never done that before in front of anyone in your entire life, so go ahead and judge.
It's a simple message and you have torn it apart and really made no sense of it in your own review. Oh, and how would you know if Jesus ever ate and spoke to people about the truth at the same time. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but your not the one to judge that either.
You left your comment, so this one is mine. I don't know who this guy is, but I think he did a great job presenting a simple message of truth that apparently you didn't get.
While I can't disagree with most of what is said here, I believe that the core values presented here are not the core values of Christianity, but rather should be the values of the Christian community, a.k.a., the church.
I can see his point with the apple core, though it is weak. I had trouble maintaining interest in what he had to say because the video was so disjointed. Such a presentation should be practiced, maybe without the apple, until it can be presented in one or two clips. When presenting to an audience, eating something tends to distract the listener and denigrate the value of the message presented. Do you care so little about your audience that you show them disrespect by eating, chewing, and talking with your mouth full? I can hardly imagine Jesus presenting the Sermon on the Mount while munching an apple.
