Time-Laps Video: Hand Painted Plaster Christmas Ornament
Santa Looking Out The Window
This tutorial video is filmed in time-lapse. It shows the process of hand painting a plaster Christmas ornament for the holiday season. This craft Christmas project in actual time will take over 2 hours to complete. Ornaments are made from plaster and are available at most craft and hobby stores. This is really great!!!
Great job with this video! It was entertaining and educational at the same time. My son loved it and has asked to paint a plaster ornament (right now!) - he's 3.
Janet, that is just adorable.
so cool
Very impressive! I love painting plaster craft items. I'm happy to see you seal your projects as well. Some people don't bother to seal them, and besides providing an extra layer of protection, unsealed items really don't look finished. I also like to use a paint brush for adding clear iridescent touches to flowers and ornaments. You did a very nice job on this! I've visited websites that sell plaster craft pieces that are ready to paint, and they provide examples of the finished pieces. They aren't nearly as impressive as yours. Nice work, Janet!
Was it hard to do the video? It was awesome to see the ornament go from blobs of color to a detailed image, so lovely!
Surprisingly entertaining! Good job!
You are featured in "Today's Highlights!" Congratulations!
Fantastic, looks like pure fun to me! I love to paint and your end result shows how much you must enjoy it, too!
