Video Guide to Exercises for Arthritis Sufferers
Tai Chi, Yoga, Strength and Cardio Moves for People with Arthritis
Today I am going to share a few different exercises, stretches, and workouts that you as an Arthritis sufferer can do. Along with all exercises and activities you should always check with your doctor first. We are going to be including a little of the Oriental art of Tai Chi, yoga, and some other cardio and other low impact exercises that you can do. Tai Chi warm-up. Breathe in with head straight. Exhale as head turns. Left arm up palm down. Right arm palm up. Inhale and twist alternately. An inexpensive item that can be utilized is an expanding band. You can take the rubber band, coil it into a ball, put it in palm, squeeze. For more effort with the band, take it, fold it in half, wrap around hand, and reach over head. Use the band to get a side stretch. Another way to warm yourself up and to get those joints and arm and legs moving in the beginning is to do a little walking in place. Over time gradually move legs higher and higher and begin to increase your arm motions
