Post a CommentWell I have the ultimate test that proves that this Swiffer rumor is totally bogus. In june of 2009 I rescued a mama dog and her 10 1dayold puppies. due to the 105 degree summer here in Texas I kept these guys in my kitchen. Well you can imagine the constant mess. I used my WONDERFULL swiffer wetjet 3+ times a day for 6 months until we had found homes for all 11 dogs. None ever had any issues including my own dogs and one foster. the big dogs often walked over my freshly swiffered floors. we had no heath issues of any sort, except the mama dog got a bout of mastitis in one of her teats. I doubt that was related to the swiffer. So there. unless the dogs in question actually drank the stuff, normal swiffer use is just fine.(I have cats too, no issues with them either)

This video is bullshit! Lies and lies and lies... Chemicals don't make your life easier, they just poison your home, destroy the environment and make a bunch of cynical men richer... This is just shameless marketing.
I have learned the hard way not to arrive at the same conclusions as established experts especially when there seems to be
contradictory evidence. Please give this
pet owner credit for alerting the public to potential dangers... I recall being seriously doubted when my pet was constantly sick. During this time I strongly suspected it was the commercial food. My doubt was solidly struck down by a so-called expert. It was only after my pet died that the actual truth came to light. Think about it first. Would you eat Swifter Soap or would you use a lot of water to make sure you removed this potential danger?
The simple fact is that veterinarians are recommending people NOT to use these products ... therefore if a trusted professional is stating this then the masses will believe. Unless this is a marketing blitz paid for by Swiffer? bewahahahahaha! Conspiracy!
I was here looking to see if the Swiffer thing was true. I do know however, that one of our cats almost died due to ingesting SimpleGreen. It has ethelene-glycol (antifreese) in it & animals smell the sweetness.
good video. I hadn't hear this rumor and when I saw the title of this video I became worried about my pets. good to know it's not true. thanks for investigating that.
I have heard this rumor, thanks for more information. I use Simply Green so I have no worries anyway.
I love my swiffer more than the family doggy so the swiffer stays, lol. j/k...but really I am a swiffer addict :)
I had seen this a while back as well. To prove my faith in email rumors- I bought a wetjet. LOL urban legends...have you heard the one about the magic eraser?
