This is called complimentary colors. You stare at a negative image for a moment. The image is "burnt" into your retina and when the picture is swapped to a black and white image, you see the image as being color.

    Wrong, the colours are complementary yes (from stare picture to original), but the phenomenon is called retinal fatigue.

    So Cooooooool. I thought that you were putting it in color and then slowly changing it to black and white. They all worked great. I must have Naiive eyes, tricked easily.

    I'm here via the first article thread in the forum. Worked for me on the first one, but not the next two. Guess, it's because I knew what to expect on the next two. interesting, though.

    I only saw the picture in color for a little while maybe it's because I blinked. :-)
