View Free Movies and TV Episodes Free Online Part 3

This is the third in a series of articles offering online sites for viewing free television and movies.

Free is my favorite price tag. It's one everyone, regardless of their economic state, can afford.

A word of caution about watching videos and movies online. Not all sites are legitimate or trustworthy. There are overseas sites that offer movies and series episodes (many times first-run movies or those currently playing in theatres), without the permission or knowledge of the copyright owners. In other words- pirates.

Don't let yourself be caught in this trap. A handy hint to follow is, if you see foreign language or symbols on the screen, and there is no closed captioning or, if the movie is first-run in English, but the online version is in another language and there is English closed-captioning on the screen, it is then safe to assume this site is a pirate site. The music industry caught thousands of people downloading what they believed was free music. It wasn't.

Many of these sites also try to infect your computer with Trojan programs. A good virus program will take care of this.

I have watched videos and movies on all of these sites without having a problem.

While some of the sites offer free memberships, no site requires one or asks for email or other information. No special toolbars downloads or players are required for viewing on these sites.

For those who enjoy camping, RV'ing, or travelling, you never need to miss a favorite episode or have someone at home tape it for you. Take your laptop and either through the hotel or RV park internet connection or via a satellite internet connection, enjoy your programs and free movies.

Many television series and movies are offered on this site. Clicking on the name of the movie will tell you which site is offering the movie and if it can be viewed, free.

Music videos from Lady Gaga, Guns N Roses, Taylor Swift, The Black Eyed Peas and more are offered for free viewing.

This site is a jackpot for those wanting to watch television programs. Over 100 programs offered in practically every genre. Spend some time browsing to find your favorites.

Spreety

The website that hosts links to thousands of online television shows, movies, sports events, radio shows and more. Every genre is represented.

By clicking on the links, one can find a host of free viewing. Some shows require a fee to play, or the download of special players. By taking the time to search carefully, this can be avoided.

I spent a few days clicking links- not all of them work. It is worth the effort, to find free viewing.

Newsletters, blogs, and contests are also available on this site. Try the trivia quiz and see how much you really know about your favorite characters/shows.

Sidereel

This site. Like many others, offers free membership subscriptions for joining forums, tracking favorite programs, entering contests, etc. No membership is required to watch any television episode or movie.

Dozens of TV episodes are offered from both network and cable programming. Anime series, such as "Bleach," "One Piece," "InuYasha," and "Fullmetal Alchemist" are offered.

Dozens of free online games are available. Play "Anika's Odessy," "Water Werks," and many, many more. How about "Guitar Geek?"

While I was able to watch television episodes easily, the movies were a little trickier. The movies are provided as links; it's up to the viewer to select a legitimate source for the movie.

History Channel

Find out what happened this day in history, and watch a video complete with newsreel footage, news clips and interviews. There is an interactive universe link where anyone can learn more about our magnificent planet.

Take the U.S. Citizenship quiz. Can you pass? My score was 87% - passing. I would have done better if I had paid attention.

Watch episodes of programs tailored to U.S. and world history. In or out of school, this is a great place for students to keep up with their studies, just like in school.

Dozens of full-length History Channel Networkshows are available for free viewing. Access videos through the video link and choose your series. My favorite- "Monster Quest." Who knows what we really share this planet with?

Nickelodeon

This site is geared for children and the young at heart. Play the "SpongeBob SquarePants" game or one of over one thousand others offered free. Select from over two thousand free videos.

Explore the PetPet Park and have fun. Choose from hundreds of free music videos.

Select from Nicktoons, Teennick, Nick at Night, NickJr. go shopping at the Nick store. Join one of the many fan clubs.

No full-length movies are offered currently. Information and games are offered on many movies currently playing in theatres.

Food Network

Calling all foodies, and those who want to cook something new, but aren't sure how. Episodes from your favorite chefs are free for the viewing. And best of all, you can hit rewind while you take notes.

There are short videos with all kinds of helpful tips such as, how to whip cream, poach an egg and brew the perfect cup of coffee. I learned things about poached eggs I never knew before. Now I can make one. I also learned how to tell what day of the year the eggs were laid. Freshness counts.

Tons of recipes are available to help decide, "what's for dinner?" Try the interactive search menu that allows you to find specific recipes. Choose from "Quick Meals," "In Season Now," and "Chef Recipes" featuring your favorite chef.

Check out the contests and much, much more on this site. I may never leave, except to go to the kitchen.

MTV

Watch full-length episodes of your favorite MTV shows. Watch everything from, "Aeon Flux" to "Jersey Shore."

There are games, forums, fan clubs, ringtones to download, blogs, a movie guide to current shows and more.

This site offers something different- radio programs online. Every genre of music is offered, just click and listen. No membership or subscription required.

Who needs to buy a ton of magazines that after one reading, are then stored forever or tossed. Save money by viewing these videos and reading the articles free.

TNT

Watch full episodes of your favorite TNT series here. Series include, "Memphis Beat," "Leverage," and more shown with minimal interruptions (commercials).

Play games based on your favorite series. Read information about your favorite stars and join the forum chats.

Enter sweepstakes to win a whole season's worth of DVD's of your favorite programs.

There are no TNT original movies available yet, but who knows? Find movie information listed about current original productions on the TNT network.

AMC

Play games, visit the AMC store, or watch videos of interviews with your favorite stars.

Watch original series such as, "Lifecoach," "Rubicon and many others.

Information abounds about AMC movies, complete with celebrity interviews. Many times, these are not included in DVD editions.

Join blogs about movies, entertainment and celebrities. Take quizzes about your favorite programs and movies.

In the search bar, type "watch online," and choose from watching the classic 1967 "Prisoner" episodes or select "B Movies." Under the "B" movie genre, enjoy classic full- length movies from several different genres.

With all the free movies and television I'm finding online, including networks graciously sharing their original series and movies free, I wonder why I would ever subscribe to cable again.

I'm seriously taking a second look at my Netflix account. Well, maybe not cancelling it just yet.
