In the wake of finally released Tiger Woods accident photos - and placated worries that injuries might end the famous golfer's reign as undisputed king of the game - there is now the news that Woods will pull out of the Chevron World Challenge. The event is scheduled to be aired on the Golf Channel for the Thursday and Friday matches and on NBC for Saturday and Sunday. The player list is limited to the crème de la crème of the golf world, including Jim Furyk, Y.E. Yang, Anthony Kim, Padraig Harrington and Mike Weir. As of today, Tiger Woods and also Vijay Singh - the 2008 winner - have withdrawn.

Golf Week reports that Vijay Singh withdrew due to a knee surgery he underwent on 11-25. Tiger Woods' website states that he is bowing out because of injuries he suffered in his car accident.

Are the Injuries Skin Deep and Linked to Alleged Tiger Woods Mistress Pictures?

As Tiger Woods and his wife remain silent and also shun police interviews, the rumor mills are working overtime. Supposed Tiger Woods mistress pictures first published by the National Enquirer are now being taken seriously. In addition to coming to terms with the possibility that golf's golden boy might not be perfect, there is the titillation about the lifestyle and antics of the alleged Tiger Woods mistress, Rachel Uchitel. She is denying all claims and hired Gloria Allred. At this stage, the continuous Tiger Woods accident update coverage is taking on the form of a soap opera as opposed to star athlete reporting.

Leave them alone. Are any of us perfect and do we all know what goes on behind closed doors and do we speculate to much? I have seen so many things in life blown out of proportion and ruin lives. I for one have had things happen in my life that I do not want my family to know little lone the whole world. Give him and his family there privacy.
