Vince Neil Daughter's Ghost Saved His Life

Vince Neil's daughter's ghostly spirit saved his life, he believes this with every sense of his being. She died at four years old and he explains the helplessness he felt around her death and how he wanted to die too.

Vince's four year-old daughter's appendix burst, but when the doctors operated they found she also had a cancerous tumor. The fight for her life lasted five months, then the little girl succumbed to the cancer.

This left Vince a mess, knocking himself out with drugs to point where he just hoped he would die. The drugs and depression took a hold of his life. He was in and out of rehab and nothing would work. He was on a road that took him very close to his own destruction.

Vince would lay in her bed with her blanket as a way to keep close to his daughter. One night he woke up to a tug on that blanket and saw his daughter. He said she stayed in her room and played with him for a long time, coloring and talking. As quick as she appeared, she left saying, "by da-da."

This was not a dream, Vince swears this was a visit from his daughter. The next day when he woke up, he felt tired and drained, but had a sense of happiness about him after spending time with his daughter.

He stayed in bed the entire next day hoping she would come back. He didn't take any pills because he wanted to see her while he's wide awake. She came back. That night they made little paper flowers and she pasted them on her dress, says Neil. He could smell the glue and remember everything.

For two weeks she came to him every night and he made sure not to drink or take any pills so he wouldn't miss a second of his time with his daughter. Finally after about two weeks, she said to him, "Daddy I can't come and play with you anymore," as seen on Celebrity Ghosts Stories video here from Comcast News.

When he asked her why, she said because she had to go to school and when she's done learning she would come back again to see him. With that she was gone. This was the last time he saw her. He understood, but missed her so much.

After a while, when he went into her bedroom closet, he found the dress with the paper flowers on it. He said he didn't need proof because he knew it was real, but the dress was proof that this did happen. He finally realized he had not had a drink or any drugs in weeks and this was the start of a long-term sobriety for Vince.

Vince believes, as does many other people, that there is life after we die. There are things to learn, which he believes was his daughter going to school. He never saw her again.
