Vince Young Gets Tackled by the Law

Vince Young, the quarterback for the Tennesse Titans, got into a scuffle in a back room of a club in Dallas, Texas this weekend. Reviewing the video tape from the club, Young went into the back room with several men. As they were talking, it appears one of the men said some inflamatory remarks to Young (possibly about his playing ability and leading the Titans) and then Young starts beating the man up. Others in the room tried to break up the fight.

Young left the club before police arrived. Based off of his actions, he will be charged with a Class C assault citation, which carries a fine of up to $500.

A spokesman for the Titans is aware of the situation and the team is looking into the situation. They will gather all the appropriate information and make a decision later. The team had already contacted Young.

Young was the number three draft pick overall of the 2006 draft. The Tennesse Titans are 26-13 when he is the starting quarterback.
