On September 6, a creep shot a 25-year-old man in the leg outside of Farragut Houses at 12:45 AM. The crime happened n York Street just between Gold and Navy. Though he was taken to Bellevue Hospital, the victim was not cooperative with the police.
Shootings are becoming more commonplace than we'd like to think. On September 24, a man was fatally shot at a Sands Street housing project near Gold Street. The victim was shot in the back around 11:30 PM and died at 4:30 AM on September 25 at Brooklyn Hospital. No arrests have been made.
