The children's section is just past the lobby, to the left. The adult's section is located on the right. A cafe sits in the middle, offering tables for people who need a bite to eat while they read. The cafe offers a variety of coffees, sodas, sandwiches and snacks.
Visitors will also find a large variety of books in the fiction and non-fiction categories. If they cannot find the book that they are looking for, they may either search for it on one of the library's computer or consult with the staff. They are quite knowledgeable and friendly with visitors.
Activities and Events
Vineland has a variety of activities, classes and events. They offer several Story Time sessions for ages 0 to 8. TeensReach is a program for students ages 13-18 who are interested in volunteering at the library.
Currently, there are no book clubs at Vineland Branch Library. If you are interested in starting one, please contact the branch manager.
Internet Training
Their Internet training classes teach children and parents how to use the library resources to find books. Computer Instruction 1 on 1 teaches computer skills.
Internet Access
Vineland offers free WiFi access for visitors with laptops and other devices. Those who do not have access to a laptop or a computer may use the library's Internet stations. Vineland has 26 thirty-minute stations and one 15-minute express station.
Bargain Books and Donations
Vineland Library has books on sale daily. Paperbacks are $0.50, and hardcovers are $1. Book donations are accepted as well. All donations go to the Friends of the Vineland Library to cover special events.
Donations are also tax deductible. Drop off your books to any staff member, and they will provide you with a receipt upon request.
