Vintage inspired Mother's Day crafts are a great way to incorporate Mom's love of all things vintage into your Mother's Day décor. So, get inspired and show how much you care for mom this year by decorating in a vintage style for Mother's day this year.

You can complete one or these entire vintage looking mother's day home décor ideas! Here are some suggestions and ideas for creating your own vintage inspired Mother's Day crafts.

Vintage Tin Can "MOM" Candle Votives

Start this vintage craft project by painting the can metal can with milk paint and then rubbing gel wood stain on it to make it look old. You can paint the word "MOM" on one can. Try making quite a few of these vintage cans ad writing words like "LOVE" and "FAMILY" on them.

You can also glue on some glitter and fun cut outs to the outside of the tin can. It will keep the candle inside safe!

Vintage Canning Jar Mother's Day Votives

For a quick vintage Mother's Day craft project that will really add some décor to your home take some of Mom's vintage canning jars and place a candle inside. Tie a vintage inspired or Mother's Day themed ribbon around the mouth of the jar for added detail. Kids can take plain ribbon and use puff paint to write Mother's Day words on them.

Vintage Table Top Décor

To add some great vintage décor to you dinner plate settings I first lay out a large dinner plate as a charger on the bottom. White plates work well in the vintage Mother's Day theme. Then I lay some vintage Mother's Day cards. After that I place a clear plate on top to protect the cards. You could also use black and white photos of mom and the family, new Mother's Day cards, and even photos copies of vintage Mother's Day cards that are too precious to risk damaging.

To incorporate the kids into this you could have them do a Mother's Day card craft project and then use their creations under the dinner plates.

Kids would love this. Best of all it would really personalize your home décor.

Vintage Mother's Day Center Piece

For a little vintage Mother's Day tabletop décor craft project perfect for a dinner party or Mother's Day party lay out a red and white check table clothe, then place a vintage bucket in the middle of your table. Pile the metal vintage bucket high with fresh fruits and even chocolates and candy. Basically, try putting foods that Mom enjoys in there.

Mother's Day Napkin Rings

Finally, make some great vintage inspired Mother's Day napkin rings that fit into your Mother's Day décor. I take simple ribbons, vintage ones when I can find them, and tie them around either paper or clothe napkins and set them on top of my dinner plates.

Kids could again use paint pens or puff paint to write 'Happy Mother's Day" on the ribbons.
