The Bottom Line It was purty darn sweet watching Kobe score 81 points... second best scoring night in NBA record.

Kobe Bryant Scores 81 points...
As a Laker fan, there is nothing more awe inspiring than watching Kobe Bryant score like few have done before. If there is one positive that has grown from Shaq being shipped off to Miami is viewing Kobe as the numero uno option, when it comes to scoring. It was a splendid spectacle to view Bryant score not only by driving to the basket, but also from the line and not to mention more than a half dozen three point makes. There is no doubt that Bryant is the leading candidate for MVP at the present time. Their is no one else in the NBA, that is contributing to the capacity of Bryant. Nothing like the scoring galore that Bryant is delivering. Seeing this game, gives me a Portland vs. Lakers (in the 2000 playoffs) flashback. The Lakers were trailing by double digits in the third quarter. Then we get to see not the immature and infuriated Bryant who more often than not went bezerk, but one that now has the maturity of knowing that he has the responsibility to take matters into his on hands, while not going hog while when the shot is not there. It was Kobe versus Raptors and Toronto received the short end of the stick. Not much difference than what they have been receiving this season. Thankfully, for the Los Angeles, when things get rough... we can now have the privilege of Bryant taking over and even watch history in the making. With a roster full of players that are inconsistent and not living up to their potential, its night's like these that serve as an aid, for giving hope to what the future could bring.

Just a few words I wanted to smack on web-paper,
