This is the best buy for me, as you get services that are equal to business class. On a return flight from London to Los Angeles, I only have to pay £1,900 including taxes. The Virgin Atlantic airlines flies on the new Boeing 747 flights. The premium section is upstairs in the bubble. It has a larger cabin and exclusive crew services. It also has private bathrooms. The seats are wide and recline at a much nicer angle. At the premium economy cabin you also get a separate check in. The Virgin Atlantic airlines offer increased luggage to its premium customers, and first exit of the luggage to which comes in handy, if you're rushing to that important meeting.
The Virgin Atlantic airlines frequent flier program has three levels of entry: Red, Silver and Gold. You earn three tier points per trip. That makes 6 points for every round trip. For the Gold status, you need 40 tier points in 12 months, and to stay at Gold level, you need 30 tier points yearly. With the gold card itself, the Virgin Atlantic airlines offers a great deal of offers. Firstly, you can use the Upper Class Lounge at all times no matter what class you are traveling in, with a guest. This gives you time to relax, sip some coffee, and make the last minute calls that you may require. The rewards program of the Virgin Atlantic airlines allows you to upgrade, or use your miles for round the world tickets. However, the Premium Economy, and Upper Class have only a few miles upgrade seats, so you have to get in early to get them first!
I have traveled in every cabin of the Virgin Atlantic airlines, and have been witness to the fact that their standard of service remains the same in everything, with the exception of the airbus to Los Angeles. The staff serving is same for both the cabins, making the service slow, and that is not what you expect when you pay £2,000!
The Upper Class cabin in the Virgin Atlantic airlines is worth mentioning. They have chairs that fold flat to form beds. There is a bar which is open to sit, drink or even read something! A soft pillow is offered in all flights, and a sleeping suit is provided on the night flights. The Virgin Atlantic airlines also offers a masseuse on board! The menu has a lot of variety, and all the meals are served fresh.
Overall, the Virgin Atlantic airlines offers excellent staff with exclusive details on their services, most of which are not offered in any other airline. The Virgin Atlantic airlines is a market leader with its wide cushy seats, adequate leg space, and excellent quality food that are just the basics in all cabins!
