Virginia: A Mother's Day Poem

djtphn1
My mother...

The perfect kind

Of a best friend

Always there

Never to judge

Forever strong

She survived the

Greatest loss of all,

And yet, her heart carries on

My mother

Who will never know

How much I love her

And how the fear of losing her

Is the greatest of all fears

I can only pray

That while I am still

Blessed with her

In my life

That I can cherish her

And show her

How much she is loved!

You summed it up nicely for me: "how the fear of losing her Is the greatest of all fears". My mother, also, means the world to me. Great poem.
