Note: When you use a virtual interior painting site online to select paint colors, be aware that the quality and depth of the color on the computer monitor will not be exactly the same as the paint will look offline. The quality of your monitor may also affect the hue you see. Use these virtual interior painting sites as a starting point for selecting wall paint colors. When possible, order a sample or visit a local store to see the paint chips in person.
Virtual Interior Painting Sites Online: Select Paint Colors Online
The Color of Inspiration
The Color of Inspiration by Sherwin-Williams is a fun and useful virtual interior painting web site to help you select paint colors online. There are two ways to use this paint color selection.
Use a photo already on the Sherwin-Williams virtual interior painting site. Or upload a photo to the site. If you don't have your own photo to use, you can browse the Internet for a photo. If you have some fabric or a couch, a lamp or even an image of a rock bookmarked, you can use one of those photos to help you select paint colors online.
Click on any area of the photo to find a paint color match. Sherwin-Williams also provides two matching hues for a complete tertiary palette. Scrolling your mouse over different parts of the photo will produce more color matches.
For easy access to paint swatches from many different interior paint companies and virtual interior painting sites, bookmark Swatchbox.com
Visions at a Glance from Pittsburgh Paints allows home owners and DIY home interior wall painters three options for picking paint colors online. The Visions at a Glance operates on Flash Player.
Anyone starting a home interior painting project can select paint colors online by either selecting a photo to paint or by uploading an actual photo of the room to be painted.
