The hardest night of all
For a child to go to sleep
Is the night before Christmas
Never mind counting sheep!
The giddiness of childhood
Has to be a wondrous joy
Awaiting a visit from Santa
To the mind of a girl or boy!
But the finality of consciousness
Is truly worth the rest
When the reality of Christmas
Unfolds to how we're blessed!

So very well-said Diane. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Cute pic. Have a blessed Christmas.
Wonderful work as always, my friend. Thanks!
The day we forget we are blessed is the day we feel truly unloved. When we feel blessed, we find happiness every moment and then spread it multifold! Merry Christmas, Diane - siva
I loved this - we are blessed :)
I was so pleasantly surprised when I popped in this morning to see that we could comment again :)
Hey Diane, do me a favor please?
Yahoo published (finally) the last article that I wrote about the little Indian girl -and she is reading the comments and emailing me to say that "Someone left another comment on my article" LOL
I tried to tell her that I get notified but I don't think she understands.
Anyway, pop over and leave her a little encouraging note, will ya?
Thanks, my friend. Love and hugs and Merry Christmas :) Cheers!
lovely and true!
