Neighborhood: Ferndale
Ferndale, MI 48220
United States of America
Looking for something free to do on a chilly winter day? Why not visit the Ferndale Historical Museum? Museum hours are Monday and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

The museum at 1651 Livermois is easily found because of its distinctive yellow door, which is historically accurate. It is not just a means for helping people find the museum earlier. The entire historical museum building was given to the city by the Canadian Legion Post No. 71.

The museum celebrated 25 years of existence in 2008, in the same location. Displays, exhibits and photographs commemorate that milestone as well as other historical occurrences in Ferndale.
