The Exhibitions at the Museum of London

An exhibit, which is quite fascinating to see, is the Londoner's bodies over the centuries and displayed skeletons, corsets, and bones ravaged by such diseases as rickets and syphilis. According to the Museum of London, London's bodies gives everyone the chance to measure up how they compare to the past Londoners.

There are displays about the years of the Blitz, which are extraordinary to see. London's worst fears were captured in this exhibit relaying London's Blitz when Nazis in September 1940 unleashed a Blitzkreig (lightening war) on British cities. This display shows what London was like at war according to the Museum of London.

Another exhibit in the museum is the virtual exhibition of London's Burning. The exhibition is very popular at the museum. It captures the Great Fire of London, the most famous disaster in London's history. It explains how the fire started and tells the story of how it shaped London to what it is today. The Rest of the Museum

The Sackler Hall is a vast space and the heart of the museum that creates a contemporary hall where it provides a place for rest and refreshments. At the end of the hall there is a bank of pods that will explain what there is to see and do in the museum.

The City Gallery is a new area of the museum, which opens up from the ground floor allowing the museum to be seen from the street level for the first time. This new extension allows a window onto the London Wall exhibit.
