If you're in Pittsburgh to do some shopping, or just to enjoy the sights and activities, be sure to visit The Waterfront. The Waterfront is located in Homestead, PA, a simple fifteen minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh. You can enjoy much shopping, dining, and entertainment in this huge plaza of stores, shops, and restaurants. The Waterfront represents some of Pittsburgh's oldest memories. A large line of smoke stacks, located on the 260 acres that makes up The Waterfront, represents the old Homewood Steel mill, where the historical Homestead Steel Strike of 1892 took place. The plaza is located along the river, and offers a spectacular view to those who choose to sit and enjoy it.

Like shopping? Browse through the various stores available. Check out Victoria's Secret, Barnes and Noble, or Old Navy. Look through the spectacular Filene's Basement, find that special piece of jewelry at King's Jewelry, or do some casual shopping at Target. There's plenty of shops to find not only what you need, but what you desire!

Hunger is not an option when you visit The Waterfront. From casual to more upscale dining, you'll find a restaurant that suits your budget here. Many well-liked and popular places include Mitchell's Fish Market, Bravo! Cucina Italiana, and Dave and Buster's. Or try the pizza at Pizzeria Uno, and have a drink at the Rock Bottom Brewery. Also available are some fast food restaurants, such as Burger King and Chick-fil-A. However your appetite runs, you'll be sure to find something to satisfy it here!

The Waterfront also offers many choices of entertainment, from family fun to more adult fun. Want to see a movie? Visit Loews Theater and watch the latest new release in their stadium seating and in full surround sound. Dave and Buster's is a family place that offers electronic stimulator's, pool, darts, Skee ball, and much, much more, including food and drinks. The Improv Comedy Club is a great place to see local and, sometimes, famous comedians. Theres always something to do at The Waterfront!

The Waterfront sits close to many local attractions, too. Sandcastle, Pittsburgh's biggest and best water park, is just down the road. Kennywood, the historic amusement park, is barely 15 minutes away. Homestead is also just miles away from Oakland, which boasts The Carnegie Museums of art and Natural History, and also the beautiful Phipps Conservatory. Theres also something to do and see when you visit Pittsburgh's Waterfront!

The Waterfront is located at 660 E. Waterfront Drive in Homestead, PA. You can call their office at 412-476-8889.
