Booking Travel:
One of the easiest ways to cut your costs in visiting Aruba on a budget is to compare vacation packages. There are some really great websites that you can go to book your whole trip. It might save you a lot of money to book it all from one place. Here are some suggestions on where you can find good deals to book your trip: Expedia.com, CheapCarribean.com, Hotels.com, Bookit.com, Travelocity, and Vacationoutlet.com.
Hotels:
There are several low cost hotels that you can enjoy while visiting Aruba this summer. The Mill Resort and Suites, www.millresort.com, is a great place to go to because from 4/05/09 to 12/19/09 the cost for their Royal Room is only $140. They provide free shuttle service to the beaches, a free scuba diving lesson per week, and a free adult and kid's activities program. The Sasaki Apartments, www.sasaki-apartments.com, is also a low budget place to stay. What is great about this place is that all the rooms come with kitchens. You can save a lot of money by not eating out every day, and just bringing in food to make in your kitchen. It is only an 8 minute walk to the Eagle Beach. They also have BQQ's that you can use, and a nice pool to swim in. Their apartment rooms are a steal at only $90 per night in low season which is during the summer. The Aruba Beach Villas, www.arubabeachvillas.com, is only $97 a night for their non-ocean view studio from 4/16/09 - 08/15/09. Their hotel is right at the water. They give a free complimentary continental fruit breakfast every morning. There are free kayaks to use, free snorkeling equipment to use, free BBQ grills to cook out on, and free beach chairs to use.
Great Deals:
If you are bringing along the kids on your summer vacation to Aruba there is an amazing Aruba promotion that is going on. I found this at www.visitaruba.com. It is called "One Cool Island", and it runs from May 1, 2009 - September 30, 2009. Basically a whole bunch of hotels have agreed to run a fantastic summer special. This special includes free bed and breakfast for kids at their hotels. There is a maximum of two kids per room. They also provide free daily activities, and each family receives a free family gift. The following hotels are part of this "One Cool Island" promotion: Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Aruba Grand Resort & Casino, Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, Brickell Bay Beach Club, Divi Village Beach Resort, Holiday Inn Sun Spree Resort & Casino, La Cabana All Suite Beach Resort & Casino, Radisson Aruba Beach Resort, Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort, Talk of the Town, Tamarign Aruba Beach Resort Mega All Inclusive, The Mill Resort & Suites, and Wyndam Aruba Beach Resort & Casino.
Activities:
There are lots of free or low cost activities to do while visiting Aruba on a budget. The obvious one is to spend your days on the beaches of Aruba. Get some sun, play beach volleyball, do one of their treasure hunts, go windsurfing, and go scuba diving. There are lots of trails in Aruba, and so walking through them would be a great thing to do that is free. Go see the Natural Bridge and Arikok National Park. Have fun shopping in Oranjestad.
Summer Events:
There are two summer events that happen every single week. The first one is the Watapana Food & Art Festival. This happens every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. between the Hyatt Regency Resort & Casino and the Allegro Aruba Beach Resort & Casinos. They have arts, crafts, live music, live entertainments, and lots of food to eat. The second one is the Bon Bini Festival. This happens every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. It is an event at Fort Zoutman in Orangjestad.

Post a CommentWONDERFUL & Budget stay at Aruba Harmony Apartments
Wonderful stay, at what must be the best hidden little secret of Aruba. Small, cozy, and secluded. Spotlessly clean apartments, nice kitchenette with all the necessary utensils, but who wants to cook on holiday? The Garden with swimming pool is a natural part of your apartment. Your host en hostess are always there if you need them, and will keep to themselves if you do not need them. They will provide all the service you need, and will accommodate any wish/trip/tour. Only access able for the guests and their invited visitors, so Privacy is the word! If you are looking for wild nights, or large resort type accommodation, this might not be for you. But for the person looking for a romantic secluded and relaxing holiday, with personal attention and all services available, this is IT.
Sounds like a great place to take a vacation. I need a vacation bad!!
