Bahamas is a quite popular destination for travelers during the summer. Mostly American tourists visit because of its proximity to the country. Bahamas is known for its dazzling beaches and pine forests. Vacationing in the Bahamas you should never miss the Rand Nature Center. It is a good place to see Bahamas cultural aspects. Also it is a good idea to stay at the Atlantis Resort. It is on the island where grounds have waterfalls, underwater viewing areas with 11 exhibit lagoons and 11 million gallons of water, the resort claims it has the largest marine habitat in the world, their lagoons are filled with sea creatures. Prices may vary but it is definitely something to consider if you are visiting the Caribbean on a budget.
One of the best destinations for a family in the Caribbean is Anguilla. It is famous for its neat beaches and of course the rare opportunity to visit the dolphins. The biggest attractions of Anguilla is the Dolphin Fantaseas where the dolphins are complimented by tourists. Another place to visit is Scilly Cay, which is perfect for barbecue and snorkeling. Finding a good price for this vacation is up to you. I don't know what is your budget range but the resorts here vary and you will definitely find what you are looking for.
Curacao is only 2 and a half hour away from Miami. Of course it has beautiful beaches and sparkling seas, but this dominion of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is quite different from the other Caribbean island. It also holds a diverse mix of history and culture. If yours family is into adventure you should visit the Curacao. Also in this beautiful island you can also visit the Hato Caves and witness the amazing dry land sea caves. These dry land sea caves have underground pools, fossils and cave drawings which date back to over millions of years. This attraction also has many resorts that you may stay at for a cheap price. The food is also cheap in Curacao depending on where you eat.
The British Virgin Islands was once a haven for the pirates. It is now the best place to be diving and snorkeling. It also provides you with the cheapest yet the best opportunities to sail and do other fun activities. Water activities may cost a lot if you are visiting the Caribbean on a budget, so coming here would be a good idea. The prices of resorts and food may vary but will be to your liking. Cant wait to to check out the 11 millions gallon lagoons! Sound remarkable, thanks!
Nice tips. I'm not sure about traveling to Atlantis though in the Bahamas. The prices of the hotel are one of the most expensive in the entire island! I'd rather stay in a smaller place then get a ticket to visit the parks there if I wanted to go there that bad. :)
