Hours
Plan your trip to see the Hall of Presidents and First Ladies from spring to fall. It is usually closed from December to February. If you go in the spring the hours are usually 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is open usually in the summer from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fall hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tickets
There is usually a cost to see the Hall of Presidents and First Ladies. The ticket prices vary. It costs $7.50 for adults. Children ages 6 to 12 cost $3.50. Children under the age of 5 are free.
American Presidents
The American Presidents at the wax museum are the main attraction to see and enjoy. There are 44 Presidents made out of wax to observe. There is an audio track for each one. As you approach each display the President will light up, and you will hear a part of American history. Each President display has something different to say. Each President's audio track is about two minutes long. If you are a true avid American history fan, then you will probably enjoy this wax museum.
First Ladies
If you are interested in seeing what the First Ladies inaugural gowns look like, then you might be interested in going to the Hall of Presidents and First Ladies. There are miniature wax figures for you to see of the First Ladies. They are about 2/3 in actual size. The First Ladies are wearing replicas of their inaugural gowns. It is interesting to see.
Other The time in seeing the Hall of Presidents and First Ladies can vary. If it is not crowded you can see the whole place in good time. However, if it is crowded it can take awhile
because you may have to wait for others ahead of you to go first. After you tour the wax museum there is a cute gift shop that you can shop in. The Hall of Presidents and First Ladies is a great place to travel too if you want to hear the American Presidents tell you the story of America.
