Visiting London on a budget does not leave you unable to see London bat it's finest and its attractions, there are several free things to do that will keep you occupied and excited. Apart from seeing Buckingham Palace there is Trafalgar Square, one of England's most note attractions, visit the museums for a treat in history, all museums are free. There are the several well known street markets like the famous Camden and Portobello markets for funky clothes, shoes and great foods. Getting around London is best done by the Tube which is the English version of the subway, this runs frequently and on a schedule. It meanders through the city of London and that makes it easy to get around to your attractions. The bus is another convenient mode of transportation that will basically get you around the city. Both modes of transportation are cheap and reliable. There is also the taxis which are basically at every corner, but this could become expensive when visiting London on a budget.

Some of the best places to eat on a budget are off the beaten path; there the food will be delicious and cheap. England is best known for its fish and chips and one of its native dishes is 'pie and mash'. The local cuisine now involves Indian and West Indian foods which are easily found in the city .There are several American style restaurants located in and around London including Starbucks to making visiting London on a budget much more enjoyable.
