Titanic
One of the reasons why many people travel to see the Molly Brown House Museum is because of the Titanic history. Molly Brown actually named Margaret Brown was on the Titanic. She was one of the few survivors of the Titanic ship going down. That is where she got her nickname. People call her the famous "Unsinkable Molly Brown."
As a Person
Although Molly Brown is famous for being a survivor of the Titanic she was also a unique individual. Seeing the Molly Brown House Museum will show you that. She was an American woman who did a lot that was admirable. She was a great activist and philanthropist. She was also a socialite. James Joseph "J.J" Brown gave the title of the house to her, and she owned it until 1932 when she died. It shows to some people her strength of character when she turned her lovely home into a boarding house because of the Great Depression. She seems like one lady who refused to let life get her down.

Historic Denver, Inc.
I remember looking at the Molly Brown House when I was a young child with my mother. It was so grand looking, and it made a great impact on me. The Historic Denver, Inc. purchased and restored the house to help save it from the current popular demolition that was occurring in that area in the 1970s. They tried to restore it back to the 1910's original looking house. They have done a great job of keeping the Victorian era alive and well in this museum. It is definitely a trip worth taking to see this impressive Molly Brown House Museum in Denver, Colorado.
