Vitamin Water Zero - the Latest in Zero Calorie Flavored Water

Nicole Lang
Glaceau Vitamin Water has now finally created a zero-calorie vitamin water. For years many would drink vitamin water thinking that it was good for them. But most bottles packed in over 150 calories each. Granted vitamin water has always been better than drinking sugar filled soda.

Vitamin Water Zero is also naturally sweetened with Truvia. Being naturally sweetened, helps set it apart from diet soda and a lot of other diet drinks that contain artificial sweeteners that are debatably bad for your health and possibly your diet.

Vitamin Water's first attempt at a low-calorie water was Vitamin Water 10 with 10 calories per 8 oz serving, this equaled 25 calories per 20 oz bottle. Not bad but for most drinking water with a little flavor does not mean drinking calories.

There are currently seven different flavors each with a different combination of vitamins that are supposed to help you in different aspects of your life.

Revitalize

Revitalize is Green Tea flavored and offers a significant amount of both Vitamin C and EGCC. The flavor is pretty actually pretty good.

XXX

This is acai-blueberry-pomegranate flavored. The primary vitamins in here are loaded with antioxidants. XXX has a pretty sweet taste to it but the three flavors compliment one another well.

GO-GO

Mixed berry flavored, GO-GO's main ingredients include vitamin e and ribose. Meant to give you energy, this sweet flavor also tastes delicious!

Mega C

Grape and raspberry flavored, Mega C comes loaded with vitamin C and zinc. Meant to help give your immune system a burst this flavor is decent.

Squeezed

Lemonade flavor, this version is meant to pack a ton of ingredients (or squeeze them in) as Glaceau's marketing team would have you believe. The bottle claims is carries "8 key nutrients from a-zinc". Squeezed is a pleasant tasting lemonade. It is not too sweet and not too sour.

Rise

This orange flavored drink reminds me of Tang from my childhood days. It is a nice flavor and loaded with vitamin C and electrolytes to help get your day going.

Recoup

Peach and mandarin flavored this Vitamin Water Zero is my least favorite of the bunch. The flavor seems a bit odd to me. It does come with vitamins B3, B5, B6, B12 as main ingredients.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with Vitamin Water by Glaceu's first attempt at a zero calorie drink. I have always steered away from Vitamin Water due to the fact that I did not want to consume a large amount of calories drinking flavored water. Vitamin Water hits the mark here. Give it a try!

I love all the flavors I just want the price to go down. In Phoenix the price is 1.25 at walmart should be around .89cents. For great buy.
