All You Need To Know About The HP Vivera Ink

Hewlett-Packard's new Vivera inks have revolutionised the way you print photographs. Engineered for long-lasting colour, Vivera inks are made to reduce the fading and image distortion that can occur with photos printed at home for some 100 years or more. Because Hewlett-Packard offers its HP72 ink cartridges in yellow, black, magenta, cyan and, in a market first, grey, there are 72.9 million colour combinations available for bright, vibrant photographs. Additionally, the adding of the grey tones to the ink cartridges allows Hewlett-Packard printers to reduce the graininess of black-and-white images for smoother, more stunning detail than ever before. The difference between Hewlett-Packard's Vivera ink cartridges in that Vivera is a dye and not a pigment, which allows the colours and shading to bond with the paper medium. In this manner, Hewlett-Packard's printers produce a better, more fade-resistant photograph than can be produced even on lab-processed silver-halide papers.
Hewlett-Packard also puts its Vivera ink cartridge dyes through a rigorous purification process. In normal ink cartridges, naturally-occurring impurities can clog the cartridge, leading to splotchiness and spotty performance. Hewlett-Packard has changed that process, insisting on the purest dyes for their Vivera ink cartridges. The result is a proprietary ink-filling system that is on the cutting edge of printing technology. Also, Hewlett-Packard has approached the problem of colour dilution in their Vivera ink cartridge products. This means that because Hewlett-Packard created their dyes essentially from the ground up, the result was colours that have superior fade resistance and which are projected to last generations. Add this to the existing quality that Hewlett-Packard is known for, namely a 0% failure rate for new ink cartridges, you will be assured of a top-notch print the first time, every time.
Numerous Hewlett-Packard printers are equipped to handle the new Vivera ink cartridge system, including Hewlett-Packard's Deskjet Mobile 400, 900, 1200, 3800, 4100, 5000, 6000, and 9000 series printers, Hewlett-Packard's Photosmart 1000, 5000, 7000, 8000, 9000, compact and all-in-one series, as well as Hewlett-Packard's Officejet All-in-one, g, k, v, Pro K series. Some versions of Hewlett-Packard's Printer-Scanner-Copier (PSC) models are also capable of utilising the new Vivera ink cartridges. Consult with the Hewlett-Packard website or the packaging of the Vivera ink cartridge for more specific information on model compatibility.
Hewlett-Packard offers Vivera ink cartridges in the HP72 format with 69 mililitre and 130 mililitre sizes. These cartridges may be purchased directly from Hewlett-Packard through their online store or from local authorised retailers who normally carry Hewlett-Packard ink cartridges and products. For optimal photograph results with the new Vivera ink cartridge system, Hewlett-Packard also recommends glossy, high-quality photograph papers for a professional-quality print every time. Hewlett-Packard sells these papers as well at their online store and through authorised retailers as well.
