Vivian Paola Montanez Abducted and Sold in Columbia

Could Possibly Be in Colorado

Jeanne Marie Kerns
A young family in Cucuta, Columbia had their life turned upside down when their young baby of just 22 months was kidnapped and held for ransom while going on an afternoon walk with her nanny. The ransom, $20,000 in American dollars was being put together when the Columbian Law Enforcement were able to trace the call that came in asking where to bring the money. Three days after the little girl's disappearance, the kidnappers were apprehended, but the child has never been seen since then.

Nestor Montanez, the father of the little girl went to the mountains where the kidnappers had kept Vivian, all that had been left behind was one diaper, baby food and one of Vivian's tiny little shoes. After further investigation, authorities learned that Vivian was possibly sold in Venezuela and could possibly be in the United States. Colorado is the state that had been mentioned.

Since June 21, 1988, Vivian's parents have been searching for her without any leads that would lead them to their daughter. Vivian would now be 23 year-old, and more than likely have no recollection of anything that has happened. That is why it is crucial that this be passed around to as many people as possible. Vivian should at least no the truth, Vivian's parents should be given the chance to see and know their daughter that was tragically taken from them so many years ago.

At the time of Vivian's abduction she was only a young 22 month old baby. Her full name is Vivian Paola Montanez Castellanos and she was born on August 21, 1986. She is a hispanic female, with brown eyes and black hair. I have uploaded two pictures that have been constructed by experts to allow you to see what Vivian might look like today. Please remember that although her hair color and eye colors were dark when she was a baby, they could be different. Keep that in perspective.

If you have seen Vivian Paola Montanez, please contact your local authorities immediately.
