VMA Awards 2010 List Winners: All Lady Gaga at Video Music Awards (Not Quite)

The 2010 VMA Awards winners list could be a lot shorter than last year's winners list. The 2010 Video Music Awards seemed to be a queen sweep by Lady Gaga, the eccentric pop star that we have grown to love. She wore some shocking outfits (find out what one was made of here) and gave some eccentric speeches. As always, Gaga made sure she made several messages, as well as entertained the masses.

Kanye and Taylor Swift were last year's side-show, and this year the winners list isn't overshadowed by any significant amount of drama. Still yet, those successful nominees include big names such as Eminem and Justin Bieber as well.

Some venture to say that Lady Gaga shouldn't have gotten so many awards, but then again her video "Bad Romance" was one that received rave reviews from the critics early on. It's rare that the WSJ and other main stream sources will ooze positive things about such an unorthodox video/performer.

Prior to Swift/West drama of last year, the spotlight was on Rihanna/Chris Brown. This year, Rihanna was again at the center of at least some of the fame, but because of her talent and not because of her personal life. Her song with Eminem - another one of the night's big winners - "Love the Way You Lie" remains extremely popular and was performed last night.

Justin Bieber's award was announced by none other than Kim Kardashian, with whom he's been accused of having an inappropriate relationship. However, there's nothing sinister about Kardashian and Bieber - as was explained in last night's episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Still yet, the opportunity was used to play on those rumors, and it worked out quite well.

Justin Bieber, Eminem, and a host of other stars entertained us as the list of winners was revealed. All in all, it was a great night. Of course, many are disappointed over the number of wins that Lady Gaga got - but what do you expect? Bad Romance was a major hit from the word go.
