The MTV VMA's 2010 were hot, as the Video Music Awards brought us unusual fashion, and an unusual list of winners. Perhaps the most talked about person from the MTV VMAs is, of course, Lady Gaga. Last year, Taylor Swift and Kanye West were all everyone was worried about, but this year, it's the quirky pop star we have grown to love.

Lady Gaga had a whopping 13 award nominations this year, and pretty much made a clean sweep of the Awards show. Her video, Bad Romance, was the hottest video of the year, and I will venture to say the hottest video of the decade.

While accepting an award, the artist actually wore a dress made out of raw meat. That's right...raw meat. As in, the food product. If you missed the awards show and need to see this for yourself, click here to see the photo at the Huffington Post.

Even if you aren't Vegan like Ellen Degeneres (who presented Gaga with a vegetable bikini) the raw meat dress evokes a shudder. I can't imagine how one would smell after wearing that for a couple of hours. It's definitely not the most comfortable of fashion I wouldn't think.

Ke$ha also had a fashion statement that was a little unorthodox. She wore...now get this...a dress made out of garbage bags. Actually, it's not as bad as you would think - it's pretty creative and you know it's affordable. Of the dress, she said "I got the garbage bags from Home Depot and I kind of just put it together,"

Now you know you're hot when you can wear garbage bags and rock it!

The MTV video music awards fashion other than Gaga and Ke$ha is what you expect - wild fashion, mild fashion, and a few hits and misses along the way. The whole night was shocking, after all I honestly didn't think that Gaga would make a clean sweep of the show, but all in all it was great entertainment.
