Voice123: Work from Home Showcasing Your Voice

Erika V. Cox

Oh, how I wish I had the right voice. Perhaps I do, I've been told I have a pleasant and professional sounding voice but when I hear my voice I'm not hearing what others hear so I don't feel as comfortable. I know I can sound very professional but I tend to stumble over words, can't get the right words out when speaking, and when I talk too much I have a tendency to get a little hoarse, so that's why I like writing I don't have to talk. But, if you have or have been told you have a great voice there is a company that offers a great opportunity for you.

The name of the company is Voice123, which is a marketplace of sorts that connects voice talents with companies or individuals looking for "the" right voice for their product or service. The opportunities for voice talent are tremendous and the money to be made is excellent. Opportunities for voice actors include voicemail messages, greetings, phone recordings, podcastings, radio, TV, and commercial announcements, narrations, videos, movies, animations, cartoons, and a host of other opportunities.

This is more of a business opportunity, it is not a job, you will not be an employee of Voice123 or any of the clients seeking your services. The best thing about this opportunity is that clients of Voice123 will be seeking your talent, you don't necessarily have to market your voice, of course you can if you want more business, but you will receive a decent amount of requests if you sign with Voice123. However, Voice123 doesn't offer this unique opportunity for nothing there is a $95 fee per year to sign up and receive voice talent opportunities from clients. But this is a business opportunity so the fee is legitimate. Plus look at it this way, you don't have to pay so much for marketing or advertising your talent, business comes to you.

Once you sign up, you will be able to list all of your voice talent abilities, what you can offer the clients, your resume, your demo, and your rates, although most of the clients will dictate how much you are paid. And you are paid by the client, not by Voice123. Once you complete the signing up process, you will begin to receive email notifications from Voice123 about various opportunities. You will send your demo to whichever client you are interested in offering your services to.

Voice123 offers various services to improve your marketability, including your very own website, plus you can get paid via Paypal. One last thing about this opportunity is that the money to be made is very good. I heard about one lady leaving a very good paying job to do this work and she makes more than what she was once making. However, one thing to remember is that you do need to have the voice clients are looking for and that there will be a lot of competition.
