VoIP is the New Standard in Communications

Voice Over IP Services

Digital lines are quite a concept. No more telephone companies can force us what to do. Telco days are finally coming to an end. Thank the heavens. No one will miss those high telephone bills from those dishonest Bell companies. No more complicated bills with confusing plans and unexplained charges. It seemed like you had to be on the phone with customer service at least once a month ironing out some problem. You were on the phone so much, it made you think that they purposely made mistakes on everyone's bill hoping that many would never notice. Goodbye Mama Bell. You will not be missed. VoIP is the new standard in communications.

One could go on and on talking about the terrible antics of those telephone companies and their land lines. People decided a long time ago that they were ready to disconnect but they could not. People wanted Internet and many of the bell companies were forcing you to keep your telephone in order to receive internet. Essentially, you had to pay something similar to a $40.00 monthly fee just to cover basic charges on a telephone you did not use. This was on top of your Internet bill. Such robbers! Finally we can have Internet without a telephone. Internet will make voice over IP possible.

Voice Over Internet Protocol is cheap. Companies charge a small monthly service fee. There will be no phone bills amounting to seven hundred dollars. So many small businesses and private citizens have turned to the new technology for their telephone needs. If you are still paying high bills the old fashioned way, you should consider making a change.

VoIP saves you so much money. It is even cheaper then cell phone service. There is no extra charge for long distance or international.

Your IP phone can plug into any computer, anywhere. The size of your portable office is the size of your computer. Try doing that with a land line. All you need is Internet and you can take your phone line absolutely anywhere.

Of course you get many of the old and familiar calling service features such as call forwarding. With a plain old telephone service line (POTS), you would have to physically be at the phone in order to call forward it. If you made the mistake of locking the office without remembering to forward the phones, you could suffer by missing important calls. How many times has that happened? With VoIP, there is no such thing. You can do the call forward thing from anywhere! As a matter-of-fact, you can make all changes to your account from anywhere. This is the whole beauty of digital telephones.

The features available are beyond anything you could ever dream of. You can do some amazing things with a VoIP account. The easy interface allows you to designate where your phone will ring. You can even have it ring 3 different places at once. Imagine having your telephone ring in a different state to Susie. Imagine having the phone programmed to ring 3 times or for 20 seconds to Susie. Then, if Susie does not answer, imagine it ringing next to Stewart in Seattle. If all fails, your unanswered calls will go to voice mail where anyone with the passwords can retrieve the message. This is just one amazing example of the available alternatives.

VoIP has been around for a while now, and right now it could not be better. This digital concept has been pretty much perfected and there is no reason not to get started with it. It gets better all of the time. Software designers have already integrated with it. Even the web is ready. Just click on a number and you hear it dialing. It is easy to get hooked.
