Vox DA5 Amplifier - Powerful Little Amp with Great Sound

I bought my Vox Da5 Amplifier around two years ago. I still think the same of it now, as I did back then. When I was looking at it in the music store, I didn't think that buying it would be a good idea. It's pretty small, about the size of a small box. I really doubted that something that small could generate any good sound, or any sound at all for that matter. The salesman there told me it was a really good amp and had excellent sound to it, but I thought he was just saying that to make a sale. Anyway, I bought it since I really needed an amp. When I plugged my electric guitar into it and started playing, I could not believe the sound. It was incredible, and it was pretty loud. I was really surprised how such good sound could come from something that small.

The thing I like about this amp, other than the sound, is the functions it has. It has a small red light that you can adjust and use as a metronome, but you have to be looking down at the top of the amp to see it. It also has different sound modes, so you can make your music sound more interesting. There are also two plugs for the guitars, meaning you can plug two different guitars into it and play them through the amp. I also like this amp because its ready to go out of the box, nothing has to really be put together. I did have to add the strap on it, but it only took a few seconds and made it easier to move. I just took the amp out of the box, plugged my guitar in, and started playing. also like this amp because its light, meaning I can easily move it around. In the two years that I have had it, there has not been one thing wrong with it. However, this is pretty much only good as a practice amp, unless you are performing in a small area. If you are doing a concert, or performing in a huge area, this amp is not for you. Another bonus to this amp, is that you don't have to be into technology to run it. In other words, you don't have to read the manual to know how to run it.
