Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop - Product Review

The Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is one of the coolest things I've bought for my kids thus far. It's something like a computer but it's not. I know that sounds crazy but I say that for a reason. It looks like a desktop computer but it's something totally different.

I bought the Vtech Nitro Turnes Desktop for $70 from ToysR Us and so far everything is good. I love the way it operates, the entire concept of this Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is very neat. I'm always amazed at the things people come up with for kids.

What I like about the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop

The main thing that I like about the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is made to teach your child how to learn. There are 60 activities on the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop that will keep your child occupied. My son doesn't like it because it isn't a real computer. But my daughter on the other hand, loves it and can't seem to keep her hands off of it.

Another thing I like about the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is that I can go online and pick through about 20 more different games, if my daughter doesn't want to choose from the 60 already located on the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop. I love options and I love being able to change things without having to buy a whole different piece of electronic

The Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is basically a school located inside of a desktop electronic computer. My daughter has access to social studies activities, arts and language and she can also learn Spanish at her leisure.

It might seem small to you but to me, I think that the qwerty keyboard, as well as the mouse is so cute. It emulates a real computer which is what my daughter loves about it the most. Not only does it have a keyboard and mouse, it comes with 2 speakers and an MP3 player dock. I can hook up the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop through a USB cord and connect to the Vtech planet online.

What I don't like about the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop

The only thing I don't like about the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is that the screen is in black and white. I hate kid electronics that comein black and white. I know most of them come in black and white but honestly, it doesn't do anything for the activites.

My conclusion?

I think that the Vtech Nitro Tunes Desktop is neat, fun and it looks extremely cool. It may not be a real computer but it looks darn near close. It's a great introduction to technology for any child who is just getting acquainted with computers.
