W, X, Y and Z: Last but Not Least

Letters #s 23, 24, 25 and 26

David A. Reinstein, LCSW
The wizened wizard
Waves his wooden
Wand
Wondering
What wondrous
Whimsy will
Waken.

Xanadu
Comes into
Sight,
Though
Xenophobia,
ineXplicably,
Scaring many
Away
From humanness and
Humanity,

A yawning yearling
Yelps
In Yiddish,
Younger than
Yoda's yellowing
Optical
Yolks.
He, too, yearns
To play Yentle
Hoping no one
Will ask
Y.

Zirconium zealots
Enjoy
Zoomingly zesty zeitgeist
While the
Zig-Zags
Of the zixties
Zoom,
Zen-like,
Into Zinfandel.

W, X, Y and Z
Can be used like blocks
To build
What you want them
To be.
In the final four
Of our own twenty-six,
All things remain possible
To break or to fix.
