Perhaps what this store is best known for among Bloomsburg University students is its line of novelty Greek clothing. They serve all fraternities and sororities on campus by creating various lettered apparel such as sweatshirts and jackets. They offer a variety of clothing colors and choices along with an array of colors for background and foreground lettering.
If you want to purchase a lettered item for yourself or someone else in your Greek organization, the ordering process is simple. You can either go to Wagner's yourself and choose from t-shirts, baseball shirts, jackets, or a sweatshirt to be embroidered. You take your clothing item of choice to the front counter to look at swatches of letter colors available. If you are ordering a sorority jacket, the owner has a list of what each jacket is supposed to look like in terms of colors, letter locations, and cost.
Once you select the colors for your clothing, the owner will fill out a form saying what you are ordering, the colors of the letters, and what letters will be on the clothing. You are required to put down a deposit in any amount, but 50% is the standard. For example, on a hooded sweatshirt I recently ordered, the total cost was $39.00. I put down $20.00; meaning I would have to pay a balance of $19.00 when the sweatshirt was finished. You are given a copy of your order form for your records.
You are told that your order will take anywhere from a week to ten days to complete. However I placed my order last Monday and on Wednesday, the store owner called me to tell me my order was ready and I could pick it up at my earliest convenience.
Not only is the wait time shorter than you are told, but the work is also of high quality. When you pick up your order, you are able to look it over first to make sure it looks fine to you. The letters are perfectly sewn on and compliment the color of the clothing you have chosen. You then pay the rest of your balance and you are set to go.
If you don't want to pick up an item of clothing at Wagner's, you can also go in with either your own shirt or fabric and they will still handle the lettering process.
Aside from serving Bloomsburg's Greek organizations, they also serve many sports teams in the area and other customers. They will engrave plaques, trophies, wall clocks, and ribbons. Towels, hats, duffel bags, and ties are also available for embroidery. No matter what you need done, nothing is out of this small business' reach.
